Miruni
Integrating two products into a unified tool that helps teams seamlessly submit and resolve feedback on any websites
This project involved integrating two existing products, both of which included a browser extension and a web app. I led the design of the browser extension experience and built the visual foundation for both the extension and the web app. I worked closely with the three founders of Miruni, the Director of Product Design, and a content designer. I also designed the brand identity and created a comprehensive design system aligned with the brand’s essence, helping to establish a strong foundation for the product. Due to fundraising goals, we had a limited 7-week timeline for product design. By setting clear priorities and focusing on impact, we successfully launched in June 2023.

mmhmm
Modularized the website to enable faster landing page deployment
At mmhmm, the marketing website needed to support multiple pages targeting different audiences for acquisition. Since these pages were also used as destinations for paid ads, we had to launch new pages and test content updates quickly and frequently. Working closely with two engineers, I modularized the marketing website and set it up with a CMS (Sanity), enabling the team to build and update pages much faster. I audited existing pages, identified reusable parts to turn into components in Figma, and improved areas where visual consistency was lacking. I also defined which fields should be editable in the CMS to balance flexibility and design integrity. As a result, we were able to launch pages up to 5x faster, cutting build time from 1–2 days down to just a few hours.

Vitally
Forming a healthy habit loop for lasting behavior change
Vitally’s mission is to improve employee health and reduce corporate healthcare costs by leveraging technology and the latest science, with a focus on the Japanese market. As a Senior Product Designer, my main responsibility was to design the minimum viable product for individual users to test and validate. I conducted user interviews and usability testing with busy Japanese professionals, and continuously refined the experience based on insights from the beta tests. Approximately 150 people participated in the beta, with 93% of testers finding the app beneficial.

Twisty Tongue
Prototyping, visual identity, and UI design for an English pronunciation edutainment app
I crafted Twisty Tongue from the ground up, designing numerous prototypes and establishing the app's visual identity, including the logo and app icon. I developed the user interface and visual design, making pronunciation practice engaging with tongue twisters and collectible cards. Our efforts led to a successful launch, achieving a day rank of #12 on ProductHunt.

Finery
Redesigning a dashboard for a wardrobe operating system to improve outfit planning
New York–based Finery is a service that collects data from users' purchase history and creates an online wardrobe, helping them organize and coordinate their clothing. Over time, user engagement had been declining, especially around the platform’s key action: look creation. Working with a team of designers, I helped redesign the dashboard with a mobile-first, responsive approach to re-engage users and drive more frequent use. We introduced a new three-view calendar and made it the centerpiece of the dashboard experience, helping users plan their outfits more easily and intuitively. My primary role was leading the visual design. I unified the overall creative direction and established new rules for spacing, typography, and color to elevate Finery’s brand presence.

LiBz CAREER
Optimizing the job search journey for women in Japan through UX and growth design
As the second designer on a small team, I led the redesign of the candidate-side platform with a mobile-first approach and built a scalable design system. I also partnered with marketing and engineering to drive growth initiatives—revamping profiles, improving messaging UX, and adding resume attachments—leading to an 18% increase in interview conversions.
I also design brand identities with strategy for startups and small businesses.
